FAB (Feline Advisory Bureau) is a charity which promotes the health and welfare of cats by making the latest information available to vets, cat breeders and owners.

It funds vets to specialise in feline medicine and runs a boarding cattery training scheme and many other feline projects.

The Cat Association of Britain is the British member of FIFe, the Fédération Internationale Féline which spans 37 countries from Russia to Argentina. The CA shares the common registration system of FIFe and organises its shows under FIFe rules.
